TVS X Electric Scooter Launched in India, Priced at Rs. 2.50 Lakh

Today, TVS Motor Company launched its new electric scooter, the X, in the Indian market for the first time. The scooter costs Rs. 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

With a 4.4 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 140 km on a single charge, the TVS X is powered by a removable 4.4 kWh battery pack. The battery can be charged using a 3 kW fast charger that takes 50 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 50% and the charging process takes a total of 10 hours.

There is a PMSM electric motor supplying 11kW of power and producing 12 Nm of peak torque on the scooter due to its 11kW PMSM motor. In terms of acceleration, the TVS X can reach a speed of 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds from a standing start.

In addition to the scooter’s modern design, it is equipped with LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights. Additionally, it comes with a fully digital instrument cluster and a USB port for charging your phone.

TVS X is offered on the market in three different variants, the XS, the XT, and the XT+, depending on your taste. The base XS variant consists of alloy wheels, disc brakes, and a single-channel ABS system and is equipped with alloy wheels. As for the XT variant, it includes alloy wheels, disc brakes, a dual-channel ABS system, as well as reverse gear. There are four variants of the XT model, among which are the XT+, which is the top-of-the-line version, equipped with alloy wheels, disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, a reverse mode, and the SmartX app.
