The Tata Magic EV will be powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are the most common type of batteries used in electric vehicles. Lithium-ion batteries are known for their high energy density, which means that they can store a great deal of energy in a small amount of space. As a result, they are ideal for electric vehicles, which require lightweight and compact construction.
Battery capacity refers to the amount of energy that can be stored by the battery. In general, the larger the battery capacity, the greater the range of the vehicle. There will be two battery options available for the Tata Magic EV: a 14 kWh battery and a 20 kWh battery. The 14 kWh battery will provide a range of 100 km, while the 20 kWh battery will provide a range of 140 km.
The price of the Tata Magic EV will vary depending on its battery capacity and other features. As a base price, the vehicle is expected to cost approximately ₹4.5 lakh (~$6,000) for the 14 kWh battery variant. An estimate of the price of the 20 kWh battery version is approximately 5.0 lakh rupees (approximately $7,000.)
