Today, TVS Motor Company launched its new electric scooter, the X, in the Indian market for the first time. The scooter costs Rs. 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
With a 4.4 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 140 km on a single charge, the TVS X is powered by a removable 4.4 kWh battery pack. The battery can be charged using a 3 kW fast charger that takes 50 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 50% and the charging process takes a total of 10 hours.
There is a PMSM electric motor supplying 11kW of power and producing 12 Nm of peak torque on the scooter due to its 11kW PMSM motor. In terms of acceleration, the TVS X can reach a speed of 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds from a standing start.
In addition to the scooter’s modern design, it is equipped with LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights. Additionally, it comes with a fully digital instrument cluster and a USB port for charging your phone.
TVS X is offered on the market in three different variants, the XS, the XT, and the XT+, depending on your taste. The base XS variant consists of alloy wheels, disc brakes, and a single-channel ABS system and is equipped with alloy wheels. As for the XT variant, it includes alloy wheels, disc brakes, a dual-channel ABS system, as well as reverse gear.
